Licensed to operate in most cities throughout the San Gabriel Valley, and most incorporated cities within the County of Los Angeles.
AMBULANCE TRANSPORTATION-BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
Basic Life Support transportation services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Ambulances are dispatched via a sophisticated radio system and each unit is staffed with one driver EMT1A and one attendant EMT 1A. The units are fully equipped to provide Basic Life Support services such as bleeding control, splinting, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
CRITICAL CARE TRANSPORTATION – NURSE STAFFED
Good Shepherd Ambulance provides Critical Care patient transportation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for those patients in critical condition requiring transportation from one healthcare facility to another. Our vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to transport the critical patient in a mobile hospital setting. Our specialized equipment includes including 12-lead cardiac monitors/defibrillators, multi-channel infusion pumps, pulse oximeters , end-tidal carbon dioxide monitoring and ventilators. Our Ambulances are staffed with two (2) highly trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s), a licensed Critical Care Transport Nurse (CCTRN), and if necessary a Respiratory Care Practitioner
GURNEY VAN TRANSPORTATION
Gurney Van transportation is available for transporting bed bound/confined patients that do not require BLS Ambulance transportation. All vans are driven by specially trained First Aid and CPR certified personnel and additionally staffed with a licensed Emergency Medical Technician to monitor the patient during transport. This service is available Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
WHEELCHAIR VAN TRANSPORTATION
Wheelchair Van transportation is available for transporting wheelchair bound patients. All vans are driven by specially trained First Aid and CPR certified personnel that ensure each patient is transported with gentle care. Additionally, our drivers offer “door-to-door” service for those patients requiring assistance. This service is available Monday thru Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
